The Wiss aviation snip is the pattern every other aviation snip copies, and these are still made in the USA.
This is the right-cut version, with green handles — the industry colour code, so the right snip comes out of the bag first time. It cuts tight curves to straight in up to 18 gauge low carbon rolled steel.
The blade serrations hold the material and spread the cutting force along the edge, which both improves the cut and extends blade life. Spring-action handles reload the cut for you.
