A workshop-grade pairing for mechanics and fitters: Metabo's monster SSW 18 LTX 1750 BL high-torque impact wrench alongside the FP 18 LTX cordless grease gun, with two 5.5Ah LiHD batteries and an air-cooled charger to run them.
The impact wrench turns out 1,750Nm of fastening torque (2,100Nm loosening) through a 3/4" male anvil, with Metabo's APS automatic power shift preventing over-tightening and dropped nuts, twelve speed/torque levels and a die-cast aluminium gear housing. The grease gun delivers up to 690 bar for mobile lubrication of machinery and plant, with a 10-step pressure thumbwheel, dual LEDs, three filling methods and a bleeding valve.
Metabo tools carry a 6-year warranty when registered with Metabo Australia within 4 weeks of purchase (3 years unregistered).
