Blade Armor — a patented industrial thermoplastic coating — is bonded to the blade to cut down the wear and breakage that kills ordinary tapes. The 32mm blade carries clear graduations, the tip is magnetic for hooking onto steel, and a stainless steel wear plate stops the blade cutting into the case.
